The Program of Study

Grow in your Knowledge of Gemara

Shiurim are offered in both Iyun and Bekiut. Students will study Gemara in a structured approach that will enable them to learn on their own.

• Iyun - Emphasis is placed on Gemara grammar and comprehensive analysis through the study of the Rishonim and Acharonim.
• Bekiut - The Bekiut Program enables students to quickly acquire knowledge in vast sections of the Gemara. Throughout the year students will make several siyumim as they complete masechtot of Shas.

Grow in your Knowledge of Mishna

• Beginners' Mishna -Several masechtot of the Mishna will be studied with the peirush of Rishonim and Achronim.
• Mishna Honors Program -Three sedarim will be studied each year with an emphasis on finishing Shas Mishnayot.

Grow in your Knowledge of Tanach

• Chumash - Shiurim will be given on parshat hashavua as well as additional sections of the Torah using Rashi and other Mefarshim.
  
• Neviim and Ketuvim - Selected portions will be studied with classical Mefarshim.

Grow in your Knowledge of Halacha

The Shulchan Aruch will be studied with emphasis on both Sephardi and Ashkenazi Halacha using the Ben Ish Chai, Yalkut Yosef, and the Mishna Berurah.

Grow in your Knowledge of Hashkafa and Mussar

Classes and discussions based on the teachings of the Rambam and Ramchal including issues such as the purpose of creation, reward and punishment, and the purpose of the Mitzvot. Students are encouraged to think and ask questions in order to gain a deeper understanding of everything learned.
